The world can and will feed you a plethora of narratives that will have you questioning: Am I enough or am I worth it? I’m here to remind you that God knew you before anyone else knew you and He KNOWS that you’re worth it. He KNOWS that you are enough.
Why You Gotta Be So Mean?
In this world full of judgement, I found myself trying to counteract it with perfectionism. However, in trying to be perfect, I became overly critical of myself. I was the mean girl to myself. As I grow closer to God, not only has He shown me grace and forgiveness, but He’s also teaching me how to show myself grace and forgiveness.
God Don’t Play About Me
Unfortunately, hostile work environments and unfair working conditions are more common than healthy environments and fair conditions. Working in work environments like these can leave one feeling frustrated, drained and many other negative emotions. As I’ve looked back at past jobs, I noticed that God never left me in a horrible environment for long. All I had to do was trust in Him.

Have you ever thought, “I need to adult better” or “I need to stop procrastinating”? Pastor Dharius Daniels reminds us in his video, “Enemies of Excellence” that there are foxes, like procrastination, that come to kill, steal and destroy our excellence. After the Rain
For years, I viewed my single season as a storm that would never pass or as a never-ending desert (wilderness) season. However, earlier this year, I heard a sermon that made me realize that my single season is more than a storm or a desert period, but it is a period of preparation. A period that is for my benefit so that when my kingdom spouse does come, I will be prepared.

The fear of missing out or FOMO is a real thing, especially if you have missed out for YEARS! At the age of 23, I vowed that I would experience life by going to more concerts. 5 years later, I rediscovered traveling and I became infected with the travel bug. Up until recently, I was always on the go. Then, I discovered that my savings account had sunk lower than I appreciated. I had to become more serious and intentional about saving. It can be hard trying to uphold the world’s standard of beauty. In my experience, sometimes the world’s standard seems unattainable so you become apathetic instead. God isn’t just concerned about your spirit and soul, but how you view yourself, your outward appearance and how you carry yourself.

We’ve all heard that “Communication is key,” but if you’re like me, sometimes you try to avoid uncomfortable communication. However, due to lack of communication, events did not always end pleasantly. Through scripture, I began to realize that even our all-knowing God requires communication. There's a saying that says, "Relationships are about give and take." In translation, that means relationships require reciprocity. If our relationship with God is reciprocal, then why can't we expect the same from our other relationships?

The world can be enticing. Being able to fit in with others usually doesn't include God. Some Christians try to have their cake and eat it too. From Sunday evening - Saturday, their lives are in opposite of what they reflect on Sunday Morning. I realized that it's not just important to love God on Sunday morning, but everyday.
